Who is Buffy Armstrong?

I write Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance. I don’t write about vampires or werewolves. I write the Pixies Don’t Have Wings Blog. I am juggling two different writing projects. I am trying to get The Dark King’s Lover published. I am slightly addicted to Twitter. I love books and cocktails. I am an unrepentant Foodie. My husband is my best friend. I wore a short wedding dress. I have a strangely long tongue. I grew up in Whitehall, NY. I have a crush on Eric Ripert. My favorite food to make is polenta. My favorite city is Istanbul. I am not ashamed of my romance novel reading. I don’t like literary fiction or poetry. I won NaNoWriMo 2011. I sometimes say the wrong thing. I don’t know how to handle crying women (or men.) I have four cats – Silas Marner Kat, Agatha Christie Kat, Audrey Hepburn Kat, Thomas Jefferson Kat. Buffy is my real name. Kids used to call me Fluffy Buffy in school. I say fuck a lot. I love Greek and Roman mythology. I’ve read all of the Greek tragedies. I have a heightened sense of color. I majored in Political Science in college. I don’t vote by party lines. I want to be Katharine Briggs when I grow up. I cry at Hallmark commercials and movies. My mom is way tougher than I am. I got my stock broker’s license when I was 21. I am a Red Socks fan. My favorite drink is Raki. It used to be aquavit. I can’t see anything without my glasses. I’ve never dyed my hair. I’m afraid of pigs. I talk to myself. A lot. I’m not as smart as I think I am. I took Latin in high school. I have over two hundred scarves. I love my Nook. I watch the Jersey Shore. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite fairy tale. I love salted caramels. I collect books on folklore. I like bright colors. I wear too much black. I have six different types of Foxglove growing in my front garden. I have a garden gnome named Jago. I didn’t get my driver’s license until I was 28. I have ten nieces and nephews. I have two older brothers and one younger sister. I wrote my first novel at 17. It was awful. I love ghost stories. My seventh grade choral teacher told me I couldn’t sing. I took art classes in high school.
